Nathalie Schneider is currently pursuing her law degree, where she has also studied political science. She chose to specialize in fundamental and human rights. Prior to joining the FAU Humboldt Chair in Human Rights team as a Student Research Assistant in November 2024, Nathalie worked as a Student Research Assistant with the FAU Centre for Human Rights Erlangen-Nuremberg (CHREN), the interdisciplinary Master’s Programme in Human Rights at FAU and FAU’s International Doctoral Programme on Business and Human Rights.

Alongside her studies, she supported a project of the Human Rights and Business Law clinic at FAU, filing a complaint with the German NPC, established to promote the effective implementation of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises and to serve as a non-judicial grievance mechanism. In the summer term of 2024, she completed the Creighton University Summer School – From Nuremberg to The Hague. In the winter term of 2024/25, Nathalie participated in the Philip C. Jessup Moot Court.

In her current role, she contributes to assistance with joint research projects, teaching assistance and event administration.
